Can I gift a Burden Busters to someone without them knowing?
Yes — this is one of our favourite things to help with. If there’s someone in your life who’s carrying a burden but wouldn’t ask for help themselves (or couldn’t afford it), you can pledge an amount with us in advance. You don’t pay anything upfront — you simply let us know the amount you’d like to make available, e.g. $400 or $500.
When we come across someone who could genuinely benefit, we’ll get in touch with you first and explain what the job would cost — say $300 — and ask if you’d like us to use some of your pledge. You only pay for what’s actually used, and the person receiving the help never has to feel embarrassed or singled out.
It’s a quiet, practical way to lift someone else’s burden without pressure on either side.
